Community Service

Our members put in many service hours yearly.

Non-Perishable Food Items

September and December, 2022 food items donated to local churches and food banks. 

Hospice Tree

Members contribute ornaments, money, art supplies, and their talent and decorate a Christmas tree which is auctioned off at the Festival of Trees with proceeds going to Hospice. The 2022 tree was titled:  "A 1950's Christmas"

Books for Kids

Members brought books to the December, 2022 meeting. These items are distributed to local children during Christmas time.

Projects our association contributes to yearly

We donate items for the August and September birthday parties at the St. Mary's Co Nursing and Rehab Center.  Items include a birthday cake, Bingo prizes, and birthday presents. Since 2020, we've only donated a birthday cake in August and September since we are not allowed inside due to Covid.

St. Mary's County Public Schools' Shoe Fund

We annually donate money to the St. Mary's Co Public Schools' shoe fund which helps buy shoes for public school children in need.
